P180X Progress, and Updates

Today marks the 58th day of my P180X challenge! That's near two solid, uninterrupted months of continuous exercise, seven days a week! Three days resistance training, two days cardo and two days stretching and balancing. And while there have been some days where I felt like I couldn't do it, I've not missed a single day.

My results as of Phase 2 are:

Weight: 62.4KG
Body fat: 8.9%
Chest: 32.5"
Waist: 30.5"
Hips: 34"
Biceps: 12.5"
Thighs: 21"

So I'm just under a third into the program now. And from looking at my workout schedule, it's going to get even harder from here on out, so there's no time for self-congratulations just yet. Just keep pushing play and keep bringing it :D

In other news, I've decided to switch back to the "When I can" schedule, as far as personal projects are concerned. I have no problems with either coding day nor writing day, in fact, I've been making good progress in both; Sweet Apple Acres is currently on hold while I've been putting together the next iteration of the Realm of Eternal Rain, and I've already done a wireframe model for Silver Dragon Studios V2. And the first twelve chapters of Chronicles of Gaia are all drafted out, ready for fine tuning and polishing.

The problem I do have is time management - while it's great to stick to a schedule when you're as busy as I am, it does feel like it's taking even longer to finish these projects than I thought. What I'd really like to try, however, is to spend at least one week coding, and one week writing, to start with, and alternate each week. I figure that working on projects in week-long blocks would be a bit more beneficial and productive than just alternating each day, especially if I'm having a work block and I didn't get anything done on that particular day.

It's rough, but that's my plan in a nutshell. It's exciting to see that soon all of my unrealized projects will come to light. I've had a few false starts and some setbacks, but now I'm encouraged by all the progress I've been making over the past year to keep on going.

Now all I need is to update this blog more regularly, and then I might have a sense of satisfaction :P
